I am Izabella, an Armenian-born, Canadian-raised, and Swiss-based watercolor illustrator, surface pattern designer and bottle painter.

MY WHAT

I create hand painted watercolor custom illustrations and patterns for a range of commercial clients such as cosmetics, wellness, home décor, weddings and events, food industry.

You can also contact me for private commissions for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, just to name a few.

My clients are both product and service-based businesses looking to generate more sales by activating and elevating their brand offering. ⁠

MY WHY

For many years, I pursued a successful career as a lawyer, navigating the complexities of the legal profession with precision and dedication. After meeting my now husband on the plane and moving to Switzerland (yes, it was that romantic!)  just in time for pandemic, I found myself facing  unpredictability and uncertainty.

It was during this period of uncertainty and re-evaluation that I picked up watercolor brush looking for inspiration and found my new passion.

Coming out of pandemic I decided to embrace the change and lean into my newly found passion.

One can say I traded legal briefs for paintbrushes, and the courtroom for a vibrant artist corner filled with color, imagination, and boundless possibilities.

My personal style is a blend of charm and playfulness, and my favorite medium is watercolor, as by its nature it is fluid, expressive and bleeds into paper in a very characteristic way.

I also like to include watercolor pencil technique, as I believe that curiosity feeds creativity.

My illustrations capture the essence of hope, renewal, and the simple joys of life that often go unnoticed. Everyday aesthetics in at the core of my art business and each stroke of my brush is a celebration of the human spirit’s ability to adapt, evolve, and find beauty even in the most challenging of times.
